Dreams do comes true. When the world’s tell you to stop or roll their eyes at your dreams…..keep pushing yourself.
If your friends or enemies or even your family don’t believe in you, prove them wrong. Believe in yourself, I believe in you!
Going to school and having part job was a BIG challenge. However, every challenge made me stronger and wiser. In April, 2017, that’s when I said “goodbye to GEORGE BROWN COLLEG and see you never!” Lol
Let’s go back to 2013, when I decided to study HEARING INSTRUMENTS SPECIALIST program. It’s 3 years program and I loved. But, I’ll be honest with you guys, I wasn’t good at school…..lol. I hate sitting in class and just reading or doing assignments or researches. That’s not my things at all. I’m more into hands to understand or learn something; for example I love to do hearing test (SRT, WRT, MCL, UCL….etc), talking to patients (counseling) , prescribe hearing aid, fitting , programming, trouble shooting….etc. That what I enjoy doing. However, I graduated thank goodness.
Then, my plan was to move from Toronto either London, UK, Vancouver or Montreal and start new life. Oh boy, we human have plan and God has plan for us. Always have faith in life. When I start applying jobs and I don’t know how and why I applied job in Sudbury. I got email back next day for interview…..lol. I did it through the phone. Two days later got the job….yay. Still can’t believe it. I was so excited but I was so so nervous, about the job, moving out, starting my life in little town. As you all know im city girl. Anyway, less than 24h I took the offer. In two weeks I moved in Sudbury. That was August 13th, 2017. Everything happened so quick cant evenot imagine.
Can’t describe how happy and excited where I am today. I have an AMAZING team who welcomed me in day one, made me feel like one of them. I love you guys so much. Not to talk about my incredible talented BOSS / OWNER who trusted me and believed me. Guys, when I started these job I didn’t have much experience and working with a BIG audiologist with master degrees plus 20 years experience. I thought isn’t going to be easy, totally was opposite what I was thinking.
He taught me so many many things. Not only how to be a great HIS but how to be an Audiologist. And he’s always there for me when I have my stupid questions…lol. So grateful everything he showed me but most important thing is, he helped me to build my confidence.
Don’t be afraid to change. You may lose something good but you may gain something better. And that’s what happen when I moved here. Yes I’m not with my family and loved ones but I got a great opportunity
Yes, Sudbury wasn’t a city I was planning to move but wallahi (I swear to God) now I wouldn’t choose or be happy to live anywhere else in the world. Always Toronto will be home, but Sudbury where my whole life changed and become who I am today.
The steps I took and decisions I made, got me where I am. I’m just so grateful everything I accomplished so far. Believe it in. Work hard and be patience and go in the direction of your dreams. Because dreams don’t work unless you do.
Do something today that your future self will thank you for?”I’ve heard it a lot in the context of fitness and dieting….lol, but today I want you to do something that your future career self will thank you for. Also, make sure to surround yourself with people that inspire you and lift you not to try to tear you down!
So glad I’m sharing these with you guys and thanks for reading☺
